How many o2 absorbers per gallon for pasta?
 

I am about to pack some gallon mylars with food like penne pasta and elbows that have a lot of excess air spaces. Does one 500cc absorber still cover a whole gallon or should I add an extra to account for the extra airspace?

Also anyone know how much O2 is in an empty gallon?

1 gallon jars are covered by a 300 cc, so a 500 cc is more than adequate.
